It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!

It's the best day ever!!! Opening day for Baseball :) You know what this means??? 7 months of pure joy! I'm so happy right now!

Weekend Getaway!!

Ok...I really thought I was going to be better at this whole blog thing, but so far I suck!! I have an excuse though because this past week I had some special visitors out on the East Coast with me. My Dad, Mom and little brother came out from California for their Spring Break (awww remember those days?) and we had a jam packed week. They flew out on Monday into NYC and spent a few days with me in Connecticut. Then they took the train down to Washington DC where I met up with them on Thursday. The cherry blossoms were out, we toured the West Wing, drove out to Gettysburg, went to the monuments, walked around Arlington and watched a lot of Basketball!! It was a great week with the fam.

The visit was long over due for my daddy. He has not been out to visit since I moved out here in 2005. Of course the reason being I go home to California for most of the Holidays. I'm so happy that they were able to make it out here for as long as they did! There is already another trip in the works for the summer to come back out and see a Yankee game and maybe a few others in the area!

So....I'm now Blogging. I have to be honest, I am very very new to this whole blogging world. I actually just learned what a Blog was a few months ago. I know what you're all thinking, way to catch up with the times, but hey I'm here now and that's all that matters right? So now what? Do I talk about myself? Share my hopes and dreams? I guess we'll just see where this whole thing takes me! I'm excited though....
