Wedding in Jersey

My cousin (not the one in this picture) got married on Saturday in Jersey and my dad and I drove down from Connecticut to be there. It was a beautiful wedding and such a fun day! The cousin I am with in this picture is a day younger than me and we have been very close since we were born....(we even have the same middle name!) We always seem to get into some sort of trouble when we are together, but how we managed to stay out of trouble this meeting is beyond me? We'll just have to make up for it the next time we're together :) It had been awhile since I had seen some of these relatives, being that I live on the complete opposite side of the country and all, so it was great to see everyone!

Memorial Day Weekend!

For some reason I have always loved Memorial Day. Maybe it's the sign that Summer is right around the corner, or it was a day off from school/work....whatever the reason may be, this weekend was a great one for me! It started off with my Daddy coming out to visit on Thursday. We went to the Yankee Game on Friday night. Hit up the new Sports Museum of America in the City and hung out in Jersey at a cousins wedding. I always love when I get to spend time with my Daddy! :) We had awesome seats at the Yankee Game and they actually won....who knew they had that in them! The weather was wonderful. We were due for some sunshine out here on the East Coast. I think all I did on Monday was lay out for 5 hours straight and only allotted myself 20 minutes to go and eat some lunch! Life doesn't get much better than that! After playing mom for 5 straight days around the clock (Paul and Christina went to the Caribbean) I was in need of sleep and sun, both of which I got! :)

Sammie got her nails did!

Ducks and Turtles

There is this beautiful park in Greenwich that I took Sammie and Matthew to a few weeks ago with Ducks and Turtles living there. I was standing on the bridge pointing out what I thought was a fake turtle to Sammie when a lady walked by and told me it was real. Sam wanted to feed the ducks and turtles but I didn't have any bread on hand so we just threw sticks instead.

Bathroom Confusion

I know many of you are probably wondering why I haven't written in this blog for some time....the truth is I really have nothing to write about. My days consist mostly of the same ol thing. Sam and Matthew! But I did have something funny happen at the gym yesterday. So I'm standing in the bathroom washing my face after my "GREAT" workout...(sense the tone!) and this lady is at the sink next to me washing her hands. I walk away from my water bottle, book, and keys for two seconds to get a paper towel and upon my return to my sink the lady has my water bottle in hand and is trying to get something out of it??? I am pretty sure she thought it was the soap dispenser, even though the actual soap dispenser was right behind it. I said, "excuse me but that is my water bottle." She still was trying to get something out of it when i said it one more time to her. At this point I just reached out and took it from her. She started to apologize and to be honest I really didn't hear anything she was saying because I still had my ipod playing. Then she kept shaking her head and saying how sorry she was. She walked out of the bathroom before I did and as I was walking out I hear the emergency exit door alarm going off. I looked down the hall to see what was going on and sure enough my friend from the bathroom had set off the alarm. Talk about two mix ups in a few minutes time. I wonder what she was like on the machines???
