Birthday Girl!

Happy Birthday to my baby sister Kendall! I know this post is a week late...but better late than never! I still made it in the month of January and in our family we celebrate birthdays for two months straight, literally! All of the Ellis kids were born in December and January, so the holidays are one big birthday party! I love my baby sister so much. Not only is she the best sister ever, she is my best friend! We always have so much fun when we are together and have gotten into a lot of trouble over the years!!! All great memories that I will cherish forever!

New Friends

For those of you who may not know, my little brother Torey is serving an LDS Mission in Mozambique, Africa. He has been out since May and is loving every minute of his life in his new country, with his new friends. Every week we get an email from him, ok more like novels, that tell us every detail of his week. By novel, I mean we're talking 5 page emails, weekly. These emails are the highlight of my parents week and I can't wait for Monday mornings either. I love hearing from my little brother and about his life and experiences that he is encountering right now. He has grown up so much in the past 8 months, that sometimes when I am reading his email, I'm wondering where my baby brother went and would he please come back? He is just the greatest missionary because of his bubbly personality and love for people. The children flock to him and he loves to play games and tricks on them. Sometimes he tells us about one or two that he has made cry (he gets that from my dad!) Even though I miss my little brother every single day, I know without a shadow of doubt, this is where he is suppose to be right now. I guess I can loan him out for another 16 months. One request, please let the time continue to fly by!! I sure do miss my little buddy!!!

California in November

I always love spending time at home for the holidays with my family and friends. I was lucky enough to be able to spend two full weeks with them in November. The highlights are when I get to see my best friends and their babies. Another is when I get to see my brother in law play basketball. Last but not least, eating at all my favorite restaurants, which happen to all be Mexican food joints! I gotta have my chips and salsa! :)
